Delegation led by Vice president of Chulalongkorn University of Thailand visited our university

On the morning of April 8, Delegation ledby Vice president of Chulalongkorn University of Thailand visited our university,Secretary Weidong Luo met with the guests, Director Ge Wang and other staffs accompaniedto be present at the meeting

Firstly, Secretory Luo expressed warm welcomevice president Kalaya and the delegation, and briefly introduced to foreignguests about our university’s history, discipline construction, education,scientific research and so on. Mr. Luo stated that our university was verystrong in the research in science especially in the aspects of materials, metallurgy,physics, and chemistry, the university were willing to carry out cooperationwith Chulalongkorn University of Thailand in aspects of the university’s finedisciplines and encourages two parties to make common development in the disciplines of foreign language, humanities and so on.

Later, vice president Kalaya appreciatedour warm reception, she introduced in details about Chulalongkorn University ofThailand’s establishment, development and disciplines setting, and said thatthe purpose of their visit is to seek a change to establish cooperation withour university. She hoped that the two parties formulate practicablecooperation method on the basis of mutual understanding and fully discussion,and put forward suggestions of cooperative research, student exchange, andbilateral discussion and so on.

Through the talk, the two parties made primaryagreement on establishing cooperation, and indicated to start with carrying outbilateral seminar, and gradually enhance two parties’ relationship andcooperation till carrying out cooperation in cooperative research, jointstudent education.
